Excellent and trusted book from a trusted pastor and teacher. Pastor Ryan Davidson does an excellent job at communicating to us that the Lord's Supper is God's covenant made visible to us. It is a reassurance that He has been faithful to His word through the person and work of Jesus Christ. This book is written in a conversational style and is accessible and soul nourishing for any believer looking to think through the Lord's Supper biblically. I highly commend this small, but thorough resource to you and your local church.
Excellent "go to" book that will quickly become a resource in our daily studies. Much more than a one time read and put it on the shelf!
This is a crystal-clear, readable book is a beautiful examination of the Lord's Supper as a means of grace. I recommend it to Baptists, who may have their of view of the sacrament enriched. And I recommend it to Baptist critics, who may be under the misconception that Baptists view the sacraments as purely commemorative.
